Yes, that's very unfortunate. With 500px closing their API completely, only Flickr left as a source for images. Flickr isn't very good at sorting and rating images, so you get what Flickr gives.
I am working on a way to improve images quality, but can't promise it will be delivered in the nearest future
Http exception
starting the app I het the message http exception. And network seems to slow. Network is not slow. Tried to reinstall but that did not help
Network connection seems slow
This app will not load info for me. I have tried on Wi-Fi and network and it acts like it cannot connect. All other apps working fine. Any other ideas?
I have published an update with a fix for 500px, should be up and running soon
Sorry to hear. Added in app purchases are donations as a way to say thanks for my good work - the app is made by a single developer on free time as a hobby. 20 euros would be some free beers for me, you can also give me a coffee for 3 euros or some lunch money :)
But if you don't like the app you don't have to pay, it's completely optional.
Clickasnap
I like this app alot but you should add support for pictures from clickasnap.com also.
You can already navigate with any app that support coordinates. To do that go to the gallery and select 'open with...' option - an app selector will pop up, allowing to open in 500px or Flickr by default, but also letting you select any other app that understands coordinates. I am using sygic for navigation, for example, and it works fine. Also with Google maps.
Hello.
Flickr seems to work fine, you sure it's not a network issue?
As for your public flickr content – there is already a request to show your own pictures on the map.

It's in the roadmap, but can't say exactly when it will be finished
